The Utah Statewide Online Education Program
Mountain Heights Academy is an approved online course provider through the Utah Statewide Online Education Program (SOEP), which gives all public and home-schooled students in grades 7-12 the opportunity to take up to 6.0 credits of online courses, 4.0 of which may be taken at Mountain Heights. SOEP students have access to teachers and curriculum at Mountain Heights. Families are responsible for providing their own devices. How to Register for Statewide Online Education Classes
You must complete the Mountain Heights Registration form and the state SEATS application.
- Go to the Mountain Heights Registration form. Follow the steps to submit an application for your student for the Statewide Online Education Program at Mountain Heights.
- Then go to seats.schools.utah.gov.
- If you have not yet set up an account, click Register to set up an account.
- Click Login to access your account.
- Click Register for Online Courses.
- Enter the grade level you will be when taking the course.
- Choose the Session/Semester.
- Choose the Course Category (See below for assistance).
- Choose the course that is labeled Mountain Heights Academy.
- Click Submit.

Please be aware that you must complete BOTH the SEATS application and the Mountain Heights Registration form to be eligible for classes. Please contact our SOEP Coordinator with any questions 801-721-6329.
How to Register for Concurrent Enrollment Courses
View the list of available Concurrent Enrollment classes here. Students interested in taking Concurrent Enrollment (CE) classes through SOEP, must complete the steps above in addition to the following steps. A step-by-step guide to help you through the process is available here.

- Register with Utah Tech University.
In the 2023-2024 school year, Mountain Heights Academy's SOEP students achieved a passing rate of 93.7% within the expected timeframe, with no students passing late. Our pupil-teacher ratio stood at 24.9 students per teacher. Statewide assessment results for SOEP students across Utah are available here.
Enrollment Deadlines
We are now accepting registrations for the 2025-2026 school year.
The deadline to enroll for Quarter 3 is 1/13/26 at 11:59 PM.
The deadline to enroll for Quarter 4 is 3/23/26 at 11:59 PM.
